You will see a new tab along the top header of each page called 'MEY10K' - please use this to access all the information that was previously available at www.mey10k.co.uk. 29/12/11 - Boxing Day Hash - as normal this event was held ot 11am at Dunnet Forest. There was a good turn out (~ 30) this year, and luckily there was no snow to cover the trail! A number of selection boxes were awarded to those that completed the course first; but everyone that took part got a mars bar for their efforts. Thanks to Sandy, Yvonne and Sharon for organising the event, especially marking ot on on Xmas eve.

01/12/11 - NHH AGM - The 2011 AGM was held on 9 November. Sandy Christie was elected as Chairman, and here is some words of introduction from our new Chairman:

'I would like to take this opportunity to let club members know that, as of the NHH AGM on 09/11/2011, I have been appointed as your new Club Chairman for the coming year and would also like to thank Dave Hall as outgoing Chairman for his input and support to the club over its first two years of its existence.

I have always had a great interest in the club and have been involved at committee level since it was conceived. I hope that this will translate in assisting the club to drive onwards and upwards over the next year.

For people that don’t know me I have been running for the last ten years or so (a late starter) and have competed in many events from 5k’s to ultra events even tried a couple of triathlons last year. My interests are not unsurprisingly running, cycling and swimming. These interests and involvement in national events will I am sure be an advantage in growing the club and its membership thus promoting running and developing other events in the area.

To benefit the Club and its members, the committee has proposed to have an early bird discounted membership to the North Highland Harriers that also provides members an opportunity to have a guaranteed entry to our premier event “The Castle of Mey 10K” Details of this will be relayed to members and the general public later this month through a press release in the local paper. I would welcome any suggestions, comments or thoughts from our members as to develop the Club.'
