Report 13 - Week beginning 05/04/10

Have you stuck to the training programme? If not any reasons why?

One run this week.

Have you done more or less than expected? Explain.

Took a week off to rest my knee and tried running on Sunday. Did 3.5 miles in Dunnet forest and my knee felt OK whilst I was running but within a couple of hours of finishing the pain got worse and I spent the rest of the day limping around and it is still very stiff now.

How did you feel during training this week? What were the highs and lows?

Only a big low now as I was hoping that a weeks rest would be a cure.

Where are you walking/running; gym, beach, roads, forests?

As I stated only 1 run this week in the forest.

Are you training alone/with someone else/mixture? How does this affect your training?

On my own.

Any injuries?

Getting sick of mentioning it - knee.

Are you doing any other forms of exercise; swimming, cycling, yoga, pilates?

2 gym sessions.

Any other observations?

Going back to the Physio to see what can be done for my knee. After putting in so much effort and hard work I am really starting to get worried if I am going to be able to do the 10k. Fingers crossed Mike can come up with a miracle cure!
