2012 Progress Entrants


The competitors, right, kindly have agreed to log and compiled regular reports on their progress for the 2012 Castle of Mey 10K event.

Kirsty Mackay, 36 years old and her family consists of husband Leslie, Emma (14), Sam (7) and Megan (4). Kirsty also works part-time at Playden Nursey - click.

Maxine Whale, 23 years old and works as a Business Development Coordinator for North Highland Products (Mey Selections) - click.

Graham Winkle, 47 years old and a children's author who lives in Mey - click.

 

2011 Progress Entrants


The competitors, right, kindly agreed to log and compiled regular reports on their progress for the 2011 Castle of Mey 10k event.

Catherine Macdonald, 35 years old and works at PFR, Dounreay.

Caroline Paul, 38 years old and works at Pentland Housing Association.

John Perry, 50 years old and a Technical Manager at AGM Batteries, in Thurso.

Linda Claxson, 39 years old, a housewife and who took part in the 2010 Castle of Mey 10k. Linda has decided to withdraw from this years event for health reasons, but hopes to get back into training for the Loch Ness 10K in October.

Sharon Sinclair, 39 years old and works as a Scottish Slimmers class manager.

Iola Wilson, 33 years old and works occasional shifts as a Doctor at Caithness General but spends majority of time being mum.

Ewan Mackenzie, 43 years old and a Director of W&A Geddes Ltd, Wick.

Linda Claxson, 38 years old and a housewife that lives in Lybster.

Jayne Hall, 45 years old and works as a Quantity Surveyor in Derby but lives in Thurso.

 

2009 Progress Entrants


The competitors, right, kindly logged and compiled a weekly report on their progress for the 2009 Castle of Mey10k event.

Graeme Dunnett, Age 48 and a Senior Project Manager with DSRL, based at Dounreay.

Anna MacConnell, works as the Co-ordinator for Caithness Partnership based in Wick.

Neil Aikenhead, Age 39, over-weight, over-tired and with difficulty in getting motivated.

Jennie Rawlins, Age 35, I have previously lost 25 stone in weight although have regained approx 4 stone now.

Wendy Kelman has had to withdraw due to injury but thanks everyone for the support and encouragement over the weeks she had been training, and wishes the other runners all the best.
