The most Northerly 10K on British Mainland
The Castle of Mey 10K is the most northerly 10K on the British mainland, and is run in the beautiful grounds and surroundings of the historic 14th Century Scottish Castle, the Queen Mother's home in Caithness.
With the kind permission of the Castle and Gardens of Mey, North Highland Harriers are the proud organisers of the Castle of Mey 10K.

2017 Race Entry
This year, the Castle of May 10K will be held on the 28 May 2017. Entry to the event is now open, via the EntryCentral website.
2016 Race Results
Congratulations to Gordon Lennox (Inverness AAC) and Kirsty Wood (North Highland Harriers) who were the winners of the 2016 Castle of Mey 10K race, in the Male and Female catgeories respectively. In hot and sunny conditions, Gordon completed the course in a time of 33:53. Timothy Ross (Orkney AAC) finished 2nd Male in a time of 34:06 and Jack Trevelyan (Highland Hill Runners) finished 3rd Male in a time of 35:15.
Kirsty won the Woman's race, finishing in a time of 44:02. She was followed home by Aimee Leask (Orkney AAC) in a time of 44:56. Marianne Wilson (North Highland Harriers) was 3rd Female finishing in a time of 46:37.

Note that the finishing order is based on the runners 'gun time', whereas the recorded time is based o the runers 'chip time'.
