NHH Introduction

The North Highlands Harriers is a new senior running club set up for runners in Caithness and Sutherland. We are based in Thurso, Caithness.

Senior running in Caithness has always been undertaken in an informal manner with a number of training runs and trail runs organised by a number of enthusiastic runners. Following the success of the inaugural Castle of Mey 10k in 2009, which resulted in a large number of new runners in Caithness, it was recognised that there was a need to have a formal senior running club and from that North Highland Harriers was born.

North Highland Harriers caters for runners of all abilities, from beginners to seasoned runners participating in road, trail, cross country, fell and adventure running.

We have a number of training runs held throughout the week and a winter trail running series. More detail on these can be found on this website.

North Highland Harriers also organise the Castle of Mey 10k, which is to be held on the 13th May 2012. (www.mey10k.co.uk)
